πŸ¦‡These bats are surprisingly cute

I know cute Halloween decor sounds like a contradiction, but this bat garland pulls it off. There's something about a little row of felt bats strung across a doorway that reads more whimsical than spooky, which is exactly the vibe I go for every year.

It's a fast Cricut project if you have one, and just as doable by hand if you don't. Either way, you'll have it strung up before your drink's cold.

Cricut Joy 2

I haven't tried the Cricut Joy 2 myself yet, but I love how compact it is. Honestly, it's just a cute machine!

It's Cricut's newest little cutter, and it can now print then cut stickers. A fun gift idea for a maker who's short on space!

Now in the Studio!

This is a multifunctional tote. Yes of course it's great for trick or treating, BUT personally I'm going to use them as a lovely handmade touch to "Boo" bags (full of little gifts and treats!) for some girlfriends. Plus it's a fun excuse to buy cute Halloween fabric. This tote pattern comes with SVG files of a Witch, Bat, Ghost and Jack o Lantern to add some personality to it. No cutting machine? No problem, you can cut them out by hand with the pdf provided in the Maker's Studio.

Picture a costume request landing the night before the party, and you still finish it before bedtime! If you've got a last-minute costume request on your hands (and October always seems to bring at least one), this is the pattern I'd reach for first. Free Patterns Master Index // Handmade Gift Ideas // Maker's Studio Hello Maker, There's a slight chill in the air. My kids are starting to wear jackets to school in the morning. There is the slightest hint of yellow forming on the tips of the leaves on the trees. There are other signs of the change of season - canned pumpkin appears in my pantry and my husband is getting that wild gleam in his eye - because it's the beginning of his favorite time of year. He refers to it as "pumpkin season"....
