🎃Teal Pumpkin Friendly

Free Patterns Master Index // Handmade Gift Ideas // Shop // Video Tutorials

Hello Maker,

I always like to have an alternative to sweet treats for my trick or treaters and this new pattern I just came up with is perfect for making cute little softie handouts that are sugar/allergy free, but not fun free.

If you haven't heard of the teal pumpkin project, it's basically the idea to have alternatives for kids who have allergies. I have a daughter that has a milk AND egg allergy and a son with a peanut allergy so I tend to be sensitive to those who have dietary special needs.

Some other fun ideas for trick or treaters is this candy corn bowling game.

This little printable treat box is great for class or office treats.

MORE HALLOWEEN FUN!

Wishing you a creative week!

xoxo,

Free Patterns Master Index // Handmade Gift Ideas // Shop // Video Tutorials Hello Maker, I’ll admit it—I’m not a fan of toys that run on batteries. I much prefer the kind powered by imagination. Batteries wear out (thankfully—some of those noisy toys are a lot), but imagination? That never runs low. It’s amazing how little ones can entertain themselves with just textures and sounds. This sunshine softie is a perfect example—the soft rays make a gentle crinkle noise that’s sure to keep baby...

Free Patterns Master Index // Handmade Gift Ideas // Shop // Video Tutorials Hello Maker, Well summer is in full swing, my kiddos are having fun riding their bikes to our local library. I confess that just makes me happy as mom - physical activity and books - yes! I've been going up to the local library too - they have a laser cutter there and I have been having fun playing with it. You might see some of my creations up in my Etsy shop soon! Summer is a great time to learn new things - if...

Free Patterns Master Index // Handmade Gift Ideas // Shop // Video Tutorials Hello Maker, Some decorations just get the party started, like these adorable pinwheel cupcake toppers! Not only do they add the spirit of liberty and unity to your treats, but they’re also super easy to make (and free!). We made these last year and, let me tell you, the sprinkles, frosting, and spinning pinwheels? They were the centerpiece of the dessert table. These printables aren’t just for cupcakes, stick them...
