Picture the sewist on your list unwrapping something that proves you really get their hobby. Maybe it's a magnetic wrist pin cushion, or a little light that clips right onto the sewing machine!

I've rounded up my favorite gift ideas for people who sew. Some are practical and some are just plain fun, and I think any maker would be thrilled to open one.

Is someone on your list ready for a sewing machine? My starter pick is the Janome MyStyle 100. When I bought my daughter her first machine, I chose a Janome from SewingMachinesPlus, and I loved that their team will chat or talk you through exactly what to buy.

For the sewist who is all in, the Bernina 540 is the closest machine to the one I sew on, and I love it! Still deciding? My sewing machine guide walks you through what to look for, one question at a time.
