I waited too long… 😔and I still think about it

Hi Reader,

I don’t want you to read this one fast.

Because enrollment for Surface Design Immersion closes tonight (Feb 24)… and I keep thinking about my mistake in 2021.

I was interested. I could feel that tug. I told myself I’d “decide later.”
And then the doors closed.

I regretted it more than I expected—not because I missed a course, but because I realized I’d talked myself out of something I genuinely wanted.

So if you’ve been circling this… saving posts… imagining what your creativity could become… wondering if there’s a real path for you—please hear me:

The hardest part usually isn’t Adobe Illustrator.
It isn’t even learning to make patterns.

It’s giving yourself permission to begin without knowing exactly how it will turn out.

That’s what Immersion is for.

It’s a guided path that takes you from sketch → Illustrator → repeating patterns → cohesive collections → a portfolio that can open doors.

And because I know people like to have a “what happens after?” plan… here’s something I’m doing to support you:

If you enroll through my link, you’ll get a free group coaching session with me on your next steps after Immersion—things like:

  • what to focus on first with your portfolio
  • how to choose a direction (without spinning)
  • how to turn what you made in class into momentum

👉 Join before doors close tonight:

Count down to 2026-02-25T07:00:00.000Z

If you’ve been thinking, “Could I really do this?”

Yes. There’s room for you.

Cheering you on,
Angel

P.S. If you’re on the edge, ask yourself this: “Do I want to be in the same place next year, still wondering?” If the answer is no, take the seat.

Free Patterns Master Index // Handmade Gift Ideas // Maker's Studio There's something really satisfying about making clothes that get genuinely worn — not just held up and admired, then folded away. Kids' shorts are one of those projects. They're simple enough to finish in an afternoon, and kids will actually put them on and run outside in them the very same day. These free shorts use an elastic waistband and jersey knit fabric, which means no zippers, no buttonholes, no fussing. The pattern...

Free Patterns Master Index // Handmade Gift Ideas // Maker's Studio Five minutes, a little satin, and something genuinely beautiful. I have a soft spot for projects that don't need a single stitch — not because I don't love sewing, obviously — but because sometimes you want to make something beautiful without setting up your whole machine. These DIY fabric flowers are exactly that kind of project. A little satin ribbon, a clip, and you've got something that looks like it belongs in a boutique...

Free Patterns Master Index // Handmade Gift Ideas // Maker's Studio Hello Maker, I confess I'm not a super trendy person. Maybe I'm lazy and think trying to keep up with whatever the color of the year is kinda silly - It's just going to change in a year! If I'm going to spend my precious time on a sewing project it had better be something that will last for YEARS. Not gone in a flash after a season. That's why I LOVE this sewing project. It's useful, classic and is so classic it can be used...
