I have a soft spot for projects that don't need a single stitch — not because I don't love sewing, obviously — but because sometimes you want to make something beautiful without setting up your whole machine. These DIY fabric flowers are exactly that kind of project. A little satin ribbon, a clip, and you've got something that looks like it belongs in a boutique hair accessories display.

They're perfect for spring — make them as gifts, for a special occasion, or just because you found a pretty scrap of satin in your stash and you're not sure what else to do with it. The tutorial includes a free template and walks through the whole thing step by step, so even if you've never made a fabric flower before, you'll be cranking them out in batches by the end.
