Well summer is in full swing, my kiddos are having fun riding their bikes to our local library. I confess that just makes me happy as mom - physical activity and books - yes!

Summer is a great time to learn new things - if you've ever wanted to try quilting I have a great starter project for you:

This is a multifunctional tote. Yes of course it's great for trick or treating, BUT personally I'm going to use them as a lovely handmade touch to "Boo" bags (full of little gifts and treats!) for some girlfriends. Plus it's a fun excuse to buy cute Halloween fabric. This tote pattern comes with SVG files of a Witch, Bat, Ghost and Jack o Lantern to add some personality to it. No cutting machine? No problem, you can cut them out by hand with the pdf provided in the Maker's Studio.
