Hello Maker,

There’s a slight crispness in the morning air. My kids have started pulling on jackets before heading to school. The trees are just beginning to blush with yellow at the edges. And then there are the other signs—the canned pumpkin mysteriously shows up in the pantry, and my husband gets that familiar gleam in his eye.

He calls it pumpkin season, and he absolutely lives for it. Something about that warm blend of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg sets his creativity on fire. Suddenly, our kitchen becomes a test lab for all things pumpkin: breads, cookies, pies—you name it.
