While the kids built forts with the branches scattered all over the backyard, I looked at one perfect branch and thought, "This could be something special."

This Rustic Heart Branch DIY has become one of my favorite Valentine decorations. The beauty of this project is its simplicity. Most of the materials are things you already have at home—just add some love and creativity!

You can go big with jumbo hearts for a party backdrop or keep it small and sweet for your entryway!
