Hello Maker,

I stepped outside this morning before the sun was fully up—my favorite time to walk and watch the light shift across the landscape. But today, the air had a sharp chill that stopped me in my tracks. Brrrr! I turned right back around, grabbed a jacket, and then continued on my way.

The truth is… I love this time of year. Jackets, cozy layers, and warm slippers become part of my daily uniform. There’s something comforting about those little extras that help us transition with the season.

This change in the air always inspires me to pull out my favorite cold-weather projects—and maybe start a few new ones.

​What's the Maker's Studio?​

While it's a classic for baby blankets I love this large throw with textures. Why not make one for yourself? And those mitered corners? You can do it! I have a step by step picture walk through so you can make them no problem.
